Service Description
About the space The Kontinuum is a converted garage space at 71a Alcombe Road, Minehead, with over 3,000 sq ft in total and a dedicated rear gallery/activity area of around 1,200 sq ft. We can comfortably host up to 20 people seated at tables, or more in a more open layout for movement-based sessions. The space is surrounded by artwork, giving a unique, creative backdrop for your workshop, class, talk, or small event. Facilities include: • Disabled access • Public and disabled toilets • Kitchen area for refreshments • Tables and chairs that can be moved to suit your session • Flexible lighting and space layout We are particularly suited to: • Art and craft workshops • Wellbeing, meditation, and movement sessions • Small group training, talks, and community meet-ups • Creative away days and informal team sessions
Cancellation Policy
The Kontinuum – General Bookings Policy 1. Booking and Payment Places are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Some sessions require pre-booking and payment in advance to secure your space. Bookings can be made via our website, by email, phone, or in person at The Kontinuum. 2. Cancellations by You If you need to cancel a booking, please let us know as soon as possible. For most workshops and sessions, cancellations made 48 hours or more before the start time may be transferred to another date or credited, at our discretion. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the session, or non-attendance without notice, are normally non-refundable. (You can adjust the 48 hours to 24 if that suits you better.) 3. Cancellations by The Kontinuum We may occasionally need to cancel or reschedule a session (e.g. illness, emergencies, low numbers, extreme weather). If we cancel, you will be offered a transfer to another date, credit, or refund for that session. 4. Late Arrivals If you arrive late, we will do our best to accommodate you, but we may not be able to extend the session or offer a refund. 5. Behaviour and Safe Space The Kontinuum is a welcoming, inclusive, and respectful environment. We reserve the right to ask anyone to leave, or refuse future bookings, if their behaviour is harmful, abusive, or repeatedly disruptive to others. 6. Health and Accessibility If you have any access, health, or support needs, please let us know in advance so we can do our best to accommodate you. Some sessions may have age or suitability guidelines (e.g. women-only, 18+); these will be clearly stated in the session description. 7.
